I had interviewed with Deloitte UK consulting in June/July and was called by the HR team by the end of July that the interviews were positive and they're sending for approval for an offer to be rolled out. I was called back later in September and told that the role is on hold due to a hiring freeze. Is anyone else in this situation and have you'll heard back from the HR team post that
I have been interviewed and selected for a role in EY UK. The status of my job application is “congratulations on receiving an offer from EY”.
However I have not received any email yet.
Can someone confirm which team sends the final offer coz the HR is saying that he has processed everything from his side.??EY

Cleanliness as well. Also the quality of displays or lack thereof. Are things well-organized and presented? Or are they kind of slapdash? I'm also a huge stickler when it comes to signage. I walked into a place the other day that had printed out a ton of signs on computer paper using like 4 different fonts. It made me twitch.

I notice print out signs right away, and if they’re all different? Would’ve noticed that too 😅
From experience mine is communication and overall structure of the workspace then definitely cleanliness. Other than that a clean bathroom is great news for the overall for sure!
I definitely notice cleanliness as well as organization. Some establishments look like thoughtful people are in charge, others can't help but look like a train wreck. I also notice the attitude of workers. It's hard to describe, but sometimes you can kind of sense it when the team is functioning well.

I notice that as well, the general sentiment of the staff. I can tell by how I’m greeted and how they interact with each other the general morale of the staff
The cleanliness and the customer service approach

For me it is energy before anything else. You can feel in about ten seconds whether a team is engaged or just surviving the shift. Cleanliness matters, but body language tells the real story. Are people greeting guests naturally or going through the motions? That vibe is hard to fake.

Right?!?! Genuine hospitality is hard to fake, and even more apparent when it’s toward a person in the industry

I’m the same with cleanliness, it jumps out instantly. I also notice the energy between staff. You can usually tell in seconds if the team feels supported or stressed. Little things like how someone greets a guest or how quickly tables get reset say a lot about what’s happening behind the scenes.
