I eat two meals a day. 11 am and 7 pm. I don’t snack in between (some people call it intermittent fasting but I don’t). Weekly one day I fast, that day I just eat once at 6 pm. Largely vegetarian. No workouts, just walk sometimes.
All vitals are in the range. Just turned 40.
Two things:
1. Shift to brown rice
2 eat only 3/4th full (growing up, grand mom always used to tell this)
Been at 170 Lbs (6’2’’) and didn’t gain a pound since shifted to brown rice 5 years ago.
Fortunately no belly fat. I used to play soccer and club cricket regularly and that probably helped too. I had too many injuries and stopped playing a couple of years ago but took up running. Perhaps, food alone is not the solution and a good mix of diet and exercise is? Also, I don’t believe in taking fat-free foods but take them in natural form (e.g whole milk, whole yogurt), which makes me conscious about needing to burn that fat and prompts me to engage in some form of exercise.
