Guys, my friend had her last working day last week and she thinks she forgot to fill her timesheet for her last 2 days before handing over the laptop. What can be the consequences of this? She is really worried about this
P.S she belongs to a back end team serving the firm internally charging time on only one code.
PwC India Pwc AC
Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon
how can i get hearts on this

These are very different roles. A transition to Medical affairs might be difficult without direct medical affairs experience / projects as the work and skills are different from Commercial / BD
Recognize that. Have good project experience in both. Was asking more about once in industry what is the growth like if either roles. Does med affairs have a lower ceiling than a commercial role, moving into leadership which are more preferred. Etc
Jumping on this post, is it possible to land director roles with this background or is associate director the best you’ll get until you are a PL/SM/EM?
Not without more than 2 years experience. Maybe at a startup biotech. But most consultants dont have strong history of managing direct reports or dealing with implementation or annual slogs, which is going to hit you in a job market this competitive.
I left for a BD role - really liking it so far. I was able to get a slight increase in comp and feel that I am still learning as much as I was in consulting (our BD team looks across multiple TAs and modalities, so am constantly looking at diverse opportunities).
Salary growth is definitely slower than consulting - think the standard was to jump around to title hop but not sure what that looks like in this market
Overall much better than consulting - but if it’s crunch time on a deal the hours can be worse
OP - can't be two vastly divergent roles with different skills involved.
I'm a PhD and currently in a BD/New Product Planning role at a smid biotech. Did Consulting for about 2 years and BD for 2 years. Overall, liking it a lot more as we are interested in various different TAs/Indications - so I do spend a lot of time thinking about different markets, understanding competitive landscapes, different treatments, how to differentiate in these different markets, and building business cases for these L&A decisions. BD touches upon various aspects of corporate strategy so there is high visibility of the work - from CEO to head of R&D/CMO. From my experience work also tends to be black boxed and firewalled from the organization (aka, not everyone in the org needs to know whats the latest asset we are running diligence on)
I think Salary growth is overall slower than consulting but your primary upside will be equity-driven as you climb ranks. WLB much better than consulting and there is more 'skin in the game' to motivate you. When you're trying to close a deal obviously your hours will shoot up, but its that intensity I think drives a lot of interest in these types of roles.
