Just found out that my favorite aunt, who claimed I was her “favorite” niece, chose to leave all her valuables to her other two nieces who never visited or called her once in the last ten years. My aunt passed away suffering from cancer last year and didn’t have her own kids. I was there by her side throughout her battle. I still wish I had done more, made her life easier. I probably sound petty, but a part of me is forcing me to re-evaluate every interaction I ever had with her.

My claim is still pending with CA but the total amount projected per week is only $400; doesn’t include an extra $600 fed govt pmt. Does anyone know if the $600 gets added somewhere else in the process? I hope I didn’t just miss out because I was lay-off 25,000,001

“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. Husband is a multi sport coach and gone a lot in season, I work in corp banking. Thinking about getting a travel trailer since I camp alone with the kids a lot in the summer, spring and fall for quick weekends. I am not sure who needs to hear this but exactly one year ago, I was at my lowest point in life. Today, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Life has truly been a rollercoaster these past few years for me.

I am sharing this to tell you that no matter what you’re feeling right now, it won’t last. Even the happiness I feel right now, I’ve had that stripped from me multiple times. That is LIFE. We have the good and the bad.

Hang in there if times are bad. If things are good, prepare to lose it too.
