At the home office in which I’m rarely in, and at the client site

I’m wondering if anyone is interested to consider / explore making a referral. I’m an associate (project manager) at Oliver Wyman in London on our private capital team (leading DDs). Previously worked at a PE fund and for a long time as a development economist in sub Saharan Africa. Degrees from UChicago and LBS. Based in London.

I mainly want to impress that I am not going to embarrass you as a referral.

No matter how many years I’ve freelanced, I still find it difficult to accurately (and fairly) predict how many hours a project will take in order to bid on it (and bake in revisions). Any tips or tricks out there?

I’ve been working to an unhealthy degree lately. And I’ve been making the excuse that I have a lot of work right now, but I’m starting to wonder if I’m addicted to it. Part of it is anxiety and perfectionism. But my behavior is now actively harmful to myself and starting to harm my marriage.

How do I stop? I’m not talking work-life balance. I mean, how do I say, “I don’t care that the client wants this tomorrow and I’m not close to done, I’m going to sleep tonight”?

Any investors have experience in pharma? I have a client looking for Angel investors and their minimum is $250k+, as an investor what are you looking for? TIA
