Hello! I’ve previously only dated white guys. While in quarantine I’ve gone on dil mil and made an effort with brown guys on apps. Surprised to find that many live at home or visit home often in mid 20s, are not financially independent, cannot cook for themselves etc. Is this typical? Or maybe it’s just the area I live in. So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit). My perhaps naive perspective is that Brahmins are a caste but also a religious subsect. One can be religious and seek similar devotees without believing in or perpetuating caste hierarchy. My joining date mentioned in IBM Offer letter which I received just a while ago is second week of November, 2021. However, I have 90 days notice period. It also says to accept within 3 days and a clause is written that joining date can be revised only till 5 days. Will ibm revise my joining date ? I am very anxious it's too late so I cant even call recruiter.

I started a new job just 7 weeks ago, but an opportunity for a dream job just suddenly and unexpectedly fell into my lap! It’s a lot more money, more aligned with my career goals, and will have better work life balance. I’d be an idiot to not take this great new opportunity!
