30+; many of the sub 25 year olds seem to lose it at the thought of interacting with someone over 30. I look young, so I've been the fly on the wall during conversations of "I'm the only 24 year old on our team, everyone is so old" and their team is comprised of 30 and 40-somethings.
I’ve heard this as well from friends in the industry, mostly healthcare. They feel discouraged because they can’t relate to any of the 30+ year olds.
I find it odd because the younger crowd will generally tout their diversity and inclusiveness, yet then go on to segregate from anyone of those groups of people when the age passes a certain number.
Certainly there are exceptions, I don't intend to say "everyone does [whatever]."
100% agree. I’m 24 and totally sensed that with other teams. Personally, I look up to older colleagues because I want to learn from them. Coming in, I thought agency life was all young ppl and I’d be growing into the industry with them.
