It depends on how close you are with the couple. I give a min of $200. When one of my closer friends got married, I gave them $500 (plus shower gift and expenses related to Bach trip). I also always give cash with the card - that way, it’s a guarantee that they’ll take/use it. Also, 1 card is good - just drop it in the card box at the reception!

Does the invite say “no boxes gifts”. If so, cash/gift card works. Amount depends how close this friend is and how much u can afford.
No invite doesn't say anything.
In that case ur choice is gift / cash.
$200 was the standard gift norm per couple around 5-6 years back (pre - Covid).
These days we usually give around $400-$500
Agree $200 is sorta minimum if you are invited with a +1
