This is assuming you actually make partner the odds of which are 6-9%’in this market
Great offer, roughly same comp as a target PINO (non equity, partner in name only) at BCG including profit share and firm performance bonus (~$80-100K lower than top box comp)
MDP comp would be more (esp Y3+) but making and staying MDP is anything but a sure thing
Top Box PINOs are at ~$650-700 if you include profit share and firm performance bonus, Principals would be at ~$500 if I do a rough average between target and top box comp

It’s outstanding outside of consulting industry. Probably, PE, VC roles make much more (eventually). Big tech is possible, but heavily equity based to meet your numbers. It’s amazing that we live in an era when one person can earn in one year an equivalent of worth of 20 new sedans, 1500 pound of meet (equivalent of 170 cows), 12 pounds of gold. At the eve of the French Revolution - the average Paris dweller’s annual income was equivalent of 0.12 pound of gold. 100 times less than today’s MBB principal’s income.

Decent exit yes. This is in line with Mck AP all in compensation assuming low firm profit share.
A 3rd year AP as well to be precise. No way 1st year APs are making anywhere near 550k…but keep me honest
