Have any respiratory therapists found jobs OTHER than being a clinical RT? I want to possibly change careers, but I am finding that a lot of jobs (clinical liason, utilization review, etc) want you to have a nursing degree, not a respiratory degree. I feel like as an RT we are limited to jobs.

Can you have your H1B transfer to a company and then having it transfer to another company ~1 month later?

In light of all discussions on FB, it seems to me that individuals at our firm have been removed out of EY beyond PIP related issues.
To help the community brace itself, please provide facts on your Utilization, level, leads, YoE at EY, and network.
My experience seems that the ones let go, had weak network.

I had a FAANG final round on Monday, and I just got a final round at another company. FAANG is my first choice. I once successfully put pressure on MBB to expedite my process because I had an *offer* from another company, but would it hurt to reach out to my recruiter with something like "I am absolutely confident after my interview with X that if Y offered me this job, I'd 100% accept their offer without hesitation, as long as I receive Y's offer first," if I don't yet have the other offer?

Thank you!

I'll go first- last school principal with no musical training forces all 7th grade to do band and said in oreder to get them interested in playing an instrument I need to get in front of them and play every instrument for the students and talk indef about them each day. Meanwhile they would be popping in to make sure I'm teaching that way because I wasn't trusted 'to do as I'm told.'

Any thoughts on quantcast to drive conversions?

Hello Fishes,

I feel that from past 1 month very less hiring has been happening in the domain of Analytics and Datascience.
Any idea when would the hiring increase?

Hey sharks, I am a Java developer, currently in Bangalore. My company has made Work from Office mandatory. When hired year before, was in a nearby client project. My office location is around 20km, and travel is impacting my work efficiency. Is this reason looks apt for finding a new job?
And would this switch be good considering news of recession and my stay in company, only for 1year.

Pursuing a hybrid development analyst position in Miami with my current company, but wanting to work remotely from Austin… I would certainly be open to traveling once a month to the office, but do not want to move to/live in Miami.

Does anyone have any insight on how to best leverage this request with the hiring manager?

Looking to transition into an HR leadership position. 17+ years experience in running a startup managing 50-100 people (15 years) and handled all facets of hiring, firing, compensation, negotiation, training and employee relations. Responsibilities also include other non HR functions such as business dev., client relations and expansion, logistics. Currently studying for the SPHR and plan to take the GPHR as well. Thoughts on difficulty of moving into an HR leadership role?

Is it normal for a Product Owner to lay out specs for how a feature should work?

I thought that was my job as the ux designer to figure out the best way to solve a need. But I’m getting handed projects where the PO, and sometimes the senior designer has laid out exactly what should happen (components used, flow, etc) to design a feature. It’s really frustrating because I don’t know if I’m supposed to be speaking up on what I think or just do the UI work I’m asked to.

How to define the years of experience needed to be a senior UX researcher? And what type of salary to expect in europe?

I have currently 5 years under my belt and I am not sure if that classifies me as a senior or still mid level, any thoughts?

How to make a leap from UI/UX into product design? What skills should a PD have? I have 5 YOE and I still feel like a junior. I have a good eye for visual design, but I'm a bit scared of the business strategy, analytics and testing part. Where do I start to learn those skills? I know the basics of testing and conducting workshops, but I don't know how to develop those skills further. My company focuses on UI and I haven't been lucky to land a PD job. Do companies really look for those skills?

We’re an AI/ML startup going through a Series A funding round and looking for a product designer. DM if you’re looking for a new gig, or just ask any questions here.

I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?

Bridge between Customer Support and Product Design?

Hiya! I am in the final round of interviews at an EdTech platform for a role that is the bridge between the Customer Support and UX/Product Design teams. I act as that bridge in my current role but on a more informal basis because it is a smaller company.

Would anyone be willing to share their perspective (positive or negative) on the Product/UX end of this relationship? I want to make sure to ask the right questions.
Thank you!

I’ve been interviewing with Google since July. Passed the first interview but the team I was matched with ended up hiring someone else. Recruiter told me that she will let me know if any other opportunities arise as I’m still in the running and haven’t been rejected. I know that interviewing with google is a long process but I’m worried the longer I wait the more likely I will be rejected or just never hear back. Anyone else in this situation? How long until you got an offer?

My firm is recruiting for early and mid-career design researchers for our San Fran office. We’re an innovation consultancy with good WLB and hybrid work. DM for a possible referral link 🚀

Any resume writers or coaches you'd recommend for Product Designers?

I worked at same place for 6 years and have done a few tech contracts. I've covered a lot of ground and I'm not sure how to frame it all.

How much, on average, should a UX designer make as a mid-level and as a senior in Canada?
Then how much does a UX team lead or manager make?
