Been lawyering for five years now, with only one-two week vacation that I took over two years ago. I’m married, husband is also in legal. Work has been pretty much all I do (no hobbies). Need to get away from all of it for a week or two to reset because of extreme burnout. Anyone travel alone for a week or more and any suggestions on where to go to decompress solo? Not looking for trips that involve a lot of socializing or sightseeing. Just peace.

Canyon Ranch. I prefer Tucson but Lenox is nice as well. You can treat your whole self, mind, body, and spirit. I always feel evolved and re-energized after.

Oh wow! Where are you flying from? I can usually find good flights from NYC but not gonna lie, the distance from the airport to the resort eats into a long weekend. You can fly into Puerto Rico or Martinique and then take a small plane to the closer/smaller airport but I haven’t tried it. You can also take a helicopter from the large airport to the resort for like $500 but your luggage goes by road. Haven’t tried that either!

Have had friends go to all-inclusives alone and really enjoyed it - just naps on the beach and time to read/watch movies uninterrupted

I also second an all inclusive. I just came back from Punta Cana and after laying on the beach for a week with a novel, I feel wayyy better. Pick one with a clean beach and good food.

I went to a dude ranch in the middle of nowhere a few years ago and it was recharging. No internet or cell service, all meals catered, and hanging out with animals.

Are there coaching services available for technology case interviews? It seems like the coaches available through Management Consulted, Prep Lounge, My Consulting Coach, etc. have coaching services available for traditional case interviews but not sure if there is another platform specific for tech cases.
