There seems to be quite a few people in here looking to join a startup.
We're a mature aerospace impact startup (in Switzerland) pre launch for a new platform to engage and empower passangers in order to accelerate sustainability in aviation. Our product website is www.adaption.me and company website is www.optimaero .ai.
If you're interested in joining us, and you think you have skills that suit our business, you could drop me a speculative application by email at hello@OptimAero.ai.

Depends on your goal. If you are looking to do something exciting and don't care so much about money, well, investors arent for you. If you are wanting to make money as well, I would sit and evaluate whether or not that investor has some good insight- perhaps your target market is wrong?
I think it's important to be firm to the purpose of the business. As the founder, you have to be passionate about it because you're investing so much of your life and energy into it. If you take on someone else's vision, you won't have the same heart for it.
Find out why they prefer that market. Consider it. Also enlighten them on your perspective. It is important to kerp being on the same page.
Isn't the one of the reasons you created a start up to follow your own vision rather than be bossed around by people you don't agree with?
It’s tough, but start by validating their ideas with research—see if their target makes sense. If you’re still convinced your vision is right, share your reasoning and some early results. Good partnerships often involve a bit of give and take, so look for ways to pilot both your ideas on a small scale before fully committing.
