Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?
Recs for LA & San Fran??

La Jolla - and yes, I’m totally dreaming

Same but a person can dream, right?
If you’re talking about apartments or condos, gas lamp and east village are pretty solid if you’re okay with the action
Agreed. Little Italy is another good spot

If single: little Italy, PB, North Park, OB
If you have a family: north county
If you are rich: La Jolla
If you are really really rich: Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe

Haha San Diego is expensive across the board. A single family home is at least 1M and it’ll be an older home. But Del Mar and RSF are another story entirely. 5M is the cheap home
I’m 24 and I live in San Diego in Little Italy. It’s a great spot, as is North Park/Hillcrest. I like little Italy because it’s very walkable, but age range is probably a bit older than me. I would not recommend living in Gaslamp/East Village. If you like to party and surf pacific beach is a good spot. If you have a family, I would say North County (Encinitas, Carlsbad, Solana Beach) or maybe bird rock if you can afford it. Point Loma is another good spot for families. If you can share what you’re looking for (age, apartment vs house, price range, kids) can give more tailored suggestion.
Love all the recommendations!
I am 25 Female and I would be loving woth my fiancé 26 Male. We’re pretty active people and love going on hikes and overall very outdoorsy
I would recommend Point Loma. I’m 24 going on 25 and my bf is 26. Super close to everything - downtown, the beaches, airport, and has cabrillo national monument at the end - great for hiking or biking. North county is a little quiet imo and pb is too wild. North park could be nice too for access to balboa
