Been at Alphabet my entire career post-undergrad. Managed to move from Google to a well-respected Bet where I’m very happy. Undergrad was a pretty general liberal arts degree and haven’t pursued grad school yet.
What would it look like (from a TC + long term career standpoint) to switch over to MBB for a year or two then go back to FAANG?

It’s probably you and them, not B4 and MBB.

Absolutely - you’re fully in control of your growth. Don’t count yourself out because you think someone is innately better.

Do you have a mentor or coach at new org that you can talk to about this?

Your point is valid. Ability to come across as someone who is takes ownership/leadership is very important.
Yeah - to me they take 1 project and just own it, while I end up getting 3-4 projects and drive thinking but not socializing

Probably more the latter. I don’t think I’m better at “leadership” than anybody at any other firm.
The fundamental bedrock of all leadership is competence, and that isn’t tied to a firm.
Sure makes sense. I’m competent but not fully - not at influencing
I think you're self awareness is admirable and that your assessment on average is accurate. That's not to say there aren't talented folks in b4 (I've worked with a few) but there is a notable de-emphasis on leadership development below the director level (I would point to the completely lack of upward feedback at PwC is one indicator of this).
The important thing is that you're both valuable and if you want to develop those skills you can.
