I am plat exec on AA and wife wants to purchase ticket to Europe (traveling alone). Any benefits of booking it through my account (and assigning her FF#) or none?

The only benefit I could think of is that you may be able to use the exec plat line to make changes, etc

like

None even if it was with AA. The status doesn’t carry over

And note that flight will be operated by Iberia

Cool, so not even a slightly better seat? Too bad for her 😁

The booking fees are less for you. Might save $20

Well presumably you'd buy it with your miles, so that's one benefit. I don't think my wife gets anything from Delta unless she is with me. As a Delta Diamond you can gift Gold which will result in upgrades at non-peak times

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
