US citizen here, and I would like to move to Europe for a couple of years. What are some big named companies (other than big 4 & MBB) that will sponsor my working visa? I would also like to move early next year. Is that unrealistic though due to COVID? TIA 😊

Hi all- My SO is currently at a Big4 & was initially preparing for S&O roles at GCP but given the high number of ex MBB consultants hired, they believe its just more competition to get the offer & to eventually get promoted over time.

Instead, they have decided to pursue program manager or cloud consultant roles, which they feel might have a lower barrier to entry from an assessment standpoint. Not sure if the bowl agrees but would like to get your thoughts, thanks!

Is big 4 PCS a dead path?

I’m in my 2nd year in audit. I want to pivot into management consulting within a big 4 or MBB. Has anyone seen someone make this lateral movement? I’m not sure how feasible that is and what steps to take. I’m also down to discuss further with whoever is comfortable in connecting.

Any tips from women who had to take maternity leave while contracting? Interesting stats this morning. EY hired 65k people this year from 2million that applied. 3% hiring rate. One person hired every 8 minutes. What is Harvard’s acceptance rate again (5.4%)?

So I’m only contributing to 401k enough to get employer match, and I’m saving an additional ~20% and putting 90% of that into my vanguard mutual funds. Reasoning is that I don’t want to lock away all that money maxing out 401k. Have 3 months expenses liquid in a savings account. Is this really dumb? Essentially trading tax for the option of actually using my money.
