My wife and I are opposite in terms of what we like, I enjoy outdoors activities, whereas she enjoys shopping 😅. We’re hoping to find a place that has both and I don’t mind driving a bit for work.

Need your help/advice! I was rear ended & gave my car to the body shop. The lift gate needs to be replaced. It's been 9 weeks and they have not yet received the part. They don't know when they'll get it in. Additionally, they mentioned that they ordered the part with my VIN & they received the wrong part. (How?) Now they're like we've called xyz vendors and none of them have the part. Is it just me, or are they lying? And their response to follow up is we will keep checking...continue..

Husband & I bought a home in DC suburbs Apr 2021. Buyer’s remorse because my job became indefinitely remote making it hard to build a social life here - 1/2 our friends moved away in last 1.5 years. Thinking of moving to PA in 1-3 years where we have friends & family. Do you recommend renting out our home? Or sell it for nest egg after 2 yr mark to avoid capital gains tax & potentially just before the real estate peak (maybe 2025 if 18 year cycle+2007)? Husband wants to rent it, I want to sell.

Im in finance and I’ve been getting asked more and more to evaluate candidates in IT. Im not sure why, I’ve been an engineer for 20 years, however I no longer write software. Half these kids could code circles around me (probably all of them). I’m a sys engineer now who is gunning for a promotion, maybe that’s it. My problem is I just don’t feel qualified to interview kids for work I’m not as in touch with. Am I overthinking this?

Girlfriends dad is a VP at GS. Not very close with him at all, and I don’t think he likes that I went to a non-target. Try to put yourself in my shoes, do you think he’d be willing to help get my foot in the door at GS? I don’t want him to think I’m using him either. Thoughts on CAIA? Difficulty, hours studied, study tips, overall experiences, etc.? I’ll be sitting for Level 1 in September. Currently work in the fund of funds space - moving over to my firm’s hedge fund research team soon so CAIA seemed like a perfect way to get knowledge in the area beforehand. I’m almost one year out of undergrad (econ background) so a lot of the CAIA content is new to me

I have 4 interviews with 4 different interviewers for one job position.

Should I send each person a thank you email after each interview or should I wait until my last round of interviews to send the thank you email(s)?
