Its overwhelming the first time and feels wrong, you continue to leave when everything is done and find use for the free time. It does not last long enough to replace the queasy feeling with this new sensation of freedom.
Afterwards and some time for reflection later, one realizes what a magical time it had been. The longing starts to hit and we seek a longer PMO engagement.
Once found and enough time spent, Stockholm gets stronger and stronger: you miss the buzz, the stimulation, the gratification of getting complex shit done, that kick you have not felt since you’ve been in that PMO.
You start looking for another Project you know will get you that kick from working on.
A bit later during reflection you realize that you might need help: you are a workaholic.
You join fishbowl and hope to find solace with your peers.
Same for Fed. Client gone by 3, I close my laptop by 430.
