I have dinner by 8 PM every day and I started that habit ever since I started to intermittent fast. My eating window is 12-8. I had to be pretty strict about and honestly, on certain days that I couldn't get a proper meal in before 8, I'd eat whatever I can and wait till the next day. You don't have to be that strict with yourself, I'm just sharing how I built the habit for myself. Now my body automatically shuts down digestion post 8 PM and I feel no hunger. It's done wonders for my energy levels and general mood when I wake up the next day.
I eat dinner by 9 PM every day. I come from a typical white family who has their dinner at 6, but I couldn't carry forward the tradition into mine and my family's lives.
We eat dinner at 5:30, I usually have a healthy snack around 8. We meal prep Sundays so all we do during the week is grab a Pyrex container and heat it up
I go to the gym pretty late (7:30-9:30ish), and I typically eat after. I do a big high protein breakfast, and I’ve switched to doing a larger late lunch recently and my post gym “dinner” is now something small & easy to digest.
It’s made it a lot easier for me - plus, I was tired of doing dishes after already being exhausted
