I’m struggling to find a full time job right now. I have 16 months of internship experience at a Big4, a 4 month internship at a well known bank and a 12 month internship at a boutique consulting firm.

My gpa is subpar (3.2/4.0) but I have strong extracurriculars and have been working full time while taking full time classes.

Any advice on what I can do to land a solid fu time offer?

I asked for a raise in April 2022 after three years with my company. Positive feedback since day one. Learned I was making less than peers at other asset managers in NYC with less experience (14 years). Latest conversation was with HR about how they calculate salaries. I’ve been asked to provide examples how my role has changed since I started to justify the increase. Is this normal? Or is this just their way of denying my request?

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Based on some research around Boston and my role in the company, I feel 165k plus 10-15% bonus is fair. Nonetheless, first time going through something like this and asking for thoughts and comments. If the TSC HR generates offer letter for me , I accept the offer & later in the joining date decide to not join TCS, will I be blacklisted from joining the company again like an ex-TCSr is blocked from joining TCS>?

Next week I’m having my first lateral interview as a junior associate. I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. However, I am very, very interested in transitioning to this practice. And I reaaally want this job because it’s at my dream firm. How would you recommend preparing for the lateral interview?

My BGV in Oracle has been completed on 8th March. I have received offer letter but it doesn't have joining date. Hiring Manager has given me verbal joining date of 17th March. Is there any portal where I can check my joining date?
