Folks with united mileageplus silver status, if you are traveling to Asia on United operated flights with 3 companions on same ticket, do they get the same baggage allowance of 2 bags 70lbs each?

I have an expiring British Airways credit I need to use in January or February. Options are Lisbon, Paris, Rome and Athens. Anyone have thoughts on any of those in the winter/off season?

I'm coming from the US - my flight credit is use-it-or-lose-it so I'm trying not to spend much more than the original credit.

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer.
