Hey fishes,
I have given the interview in Hexaware and later on I got the email to fill the CAF form which is also done. Nos it's been 20 days and no call, no e-mail at all! I can see the status as offet pending.
I am on notice period and I have only 1 month remaining.
Is it like, hexaware will release the offer at the end time or something! Because I'm eagerly waiting for the offer as I don't have much time now!

Ok to reuse first round stories in round two. The recommendation is to avoid stories with interviews in the same round since they would be discussing your candidacy with each other

You can, but it is a missed opportunity. You’re better off sharing two impactful stories about yourself than one.

What dull lives we lead when McKinsey is our crowning achievement.
No issues with repeating PEI stories between rounds. As a final round interviewer, I never know what stories were used in the earlier round
Just as one data point, I reused both of my R1 stories in round 2 and got the offer. I was told it was okay between rounds to repeat but just not within rounds (they even tell you this during the interview)
Reuse between rounds 10000%

Ok here’s the thing. Yes it is possible to reuse stories between R1 and R2, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you have other strong stories. The hierarchy of outcomes is 5-6 great PEI stories with no repeats at all > 3-4 great PEI stories with repeats between R1 and R2 >>>>>>>> 1-2 good PEI stories with repeats in the round.
TLDR: You should NEVER repeat stories within the same round, and if you have strong enough stories you shouldn’t repeat stories between rounds but if you have to it’s probably ok.

Disagree. Re use stories from R1 because they made you pass the round, unless the feedback was on the PEI.
I was told yes by current mck consultants but highly encouraged to not repeat stories by recruiters. So not sure, following.
Yep that’s exactly what I heard as well. My recruiter said do it if I must, but not encouraged.
How would you have a different story if the question is about something as “best” or “most”, like difficult time or achievement?
I mean it’s not even about weaker or not, it’s like you’re lying if you told 2 diff stories. Quite a tricky situation
Are the interviews the same for McKinsey risk practice?
Yes, as long as it’s an Associate or BA role in the Risk practice. If it’s Specialist/Expert you’ll also have a functional interview in addition to PEI + Case
I did, yes.
