Why Bain over the other 2?
McKinsey & Company Does level and/or office matter for referrals at McKinsey & Company? A friend is willing to refer at the Associate level in my target office though I did not get any traction w/ the referral last year. I'm a Veteran so I also recognize there may be a resume translation issue despite the prior version getting me interviews with BCG and Bain. I have updated the resume since - though still wondering if there's anything else I can do to strengthen my case. Thank you in advance for any advice.
How is the culture at quantumblack?
Bain & Company I received an offer to join Bain & Company for SF office but due to family reasons, I will have to stay in the South Bay. Given Bain’s local staffing model, it will be challenging for me to commute to SF and back. Is it possible to be transferred to the palo alto office/is that office fully functioning or does it mainly serve as a hub for partners and research?

If they hired me, they’ll hire anybody - you got this!

We’re not as smart as you might think you’re almost certainly smart enough!
Read the McKinsey website on our interviews. All you need to know to nail the interview is right there! We are very intentional about the words we use.
I can’t tell people this enough!
You got it! Nerves are 90% of the battle!
It’s natural to feel nervous OP. Remember that everybody goes through this and there’s nothing wrong with it.
That being said, to deal with it I’d strongly recommend using Thursday to chill out: watch a movie, go out for lunch, spend some quality family time, do whatever you like. It takes your mind off the interview and makes you feel positive which fends off nerves and creeping negativity.
It helps to go in with a sense of excitement about sharing your stories and tackling those cases. Something that helped me was to remember that the interviewer really wants you to succeed. Seems trivial but once you accept it, it takes the pressure off your shoulders, prevents you from second-guessing yourself and allows you to interact freely with the interviewer, especially while casing.
Hope this helps!
Have a good work out the day before, mediate the week and day of, do not practice the day before or of, relax the day before and of, power pose before the interview, relax if you make a mistake - not the end of the world.
You can do it! Deep breaths 😌

Me too OP me too!
You’ve got this <3
Just focus on performing and let the decision maker to decide. No matter what the final result is make sure to allow yourself to perform without additional burden so that you can be at peace regardless.
Good luck :)
You already passed Accenture and have presumably gone through consulting recruiting. This is like practice for you, think about how many post mba hires are doing real consulting interviews for the first time ever
Be yourself!!!
Same everytime I think about it I feel nauseous
Stay calm. If you make a mistake, catch it yourself. Be confident and recover. It’ll be okay! I felt like I bombed but ended up okay.
