Bain & Company I received an offer to join Bain & Company for SF office but due to family reasons, I will have to stay in the South Bay. Given Bain’s local staffing model, it will be challenging for me to commute to SF and back. Is it possible to be transferred to the palo alto office/is that office fully functioning or does it mainly serve as a hub for partners and research?

Bain & Company Is anyone else getting their application to Bain & Company pushed backed?
As of yesterday, even though I applied in May, and that while they liked my application, they will not be considering me till early 2023.

Associates and consultants: 5% of base and bonus.
Project Leaders, Principals, Partners: 10%

It is a free contribution, no matching required. No vesting, it is yours immediately, even if you leave mid year
Not sure. Best guess is tenure or level trigger higher tier. That’s how vacation works. Guessing:
- 5% below manager or 5 year tenure
- 10% manager and up or over 5 years
Depends on your level. I’ll be joining BCG as a post MBA consultant and I’ll receive ~$10.5K towards my 401K regardless of my contribution. The healthcare benefits are better IMO (no premiums).
I believe at the post-MBA level, McKinsey contributes 7.5% of your salary towards your 401K regardless of your contribution. I saw that on management consulted though, so I’ll leave that to someone from McK to confirm.
Can confirm the 7.5% for both BAs and ASCs
It’s a flat percentage of salary no matter what you contribute. That percentage goes up a lot at the PL level.
