Anyone from MBB office the Netherlands?

Fully regret completing my MBA at a non target even tho I got into some M7s, mainly for ego reasons. Did the MBA to break into consulting, and I did but wondering if I would’ve been able to get in with MBB through traditional channels had I done M7. Now I’m finding it impossible to even get interviews at MBB

Why are people obsessed with comparing MBB? Do investment bankers or lawyers do the same? It’s kinda pathetic

Is working at MBB more challenging (higher performance benchmarks, lesser leeway, etc.) than T2 shops (OW, LEK, EY-P, OC&C)? Would be great to hear from someone with experience at both

Got an offer from MBB and they want me to start before summer 2021, is it possible to push it to later in the year like after Christmas 2021? I would come in the same level as me previous firm, so pretty much ignoring my past experience, not sure if that matters

Hey guys, I just found this group and I’m hoping for some guidance/advice! I’m hoping to get into one of the Big 4s or MBB and finally got a few referrals once joining FB. I am 29, have an MA in IOP, and 10 YEO. I have never worked for a non-Jewish company (despite trying pretty damn hard to get out) and I’m freaking out. I have no concept of normal professionalism, strategy for navigating the workplace and the real world in corporate USA,(cont. in comment)

Are ppl worried about being on the bench esp when there aren’t a lot of projects in the pipeline? New hire here about to be up for staffing for the first time and sentiment at my firm seems to be worried/fearful about being unstaffed. Have full-time post-MBA offers from Bain big MCOL City and McKinsey small-ish M/HCOL city. McKinsey city is close to home and where I want to live long term, but I have really vibed with the Bain people.

Just took this BCG Quant Reasoning test and I think I messed it up. Some of the units are so confusing. Is nearest 000s of pounds 23000 or 23? They don’t partial mark it and the whole test was filled with this sort of thing. Oh well

Haven’t heard back from McK since I submitted my resume through a referral 1.5months ago (experienced hire). The person who referred me says it’s still “under review”. Is there any way I can follow up with my application, or should I just take this as a rejection?

I really really want to work for McK and have put in a lot of effort to research and prepare.. so I don’t want to give up yet.

How long does it take to hear back from McKinsey after applying for an experienced position? I applied on 3.11 and haven’t heard back and the status says in progress. Is that a bad sign? TIA
