Take it with a grain of salt because everybody is different. I think a good sign is when they are describing the job and things about the company. If they aren’t saying anything, I worry they have already made up their mind. For panel interviews, just try to address everyone and ask follow-up questions as needed.
What is the position you seek?
If they seem genuinely interested in what you are saying, then it is a good sign they already don't have a hire in mind yet. Try not to read too much into anything that happens though. You won't know for sure until you get the call (or get ghosted).
