My base loc is Bengaluru, but currently I am not mandatorily required to work from office, and have been working from home since I joined Deloitte in July. Should I talk to my manager and go back to my hometown Kolkata and work from there? Staying in PG all day and working from here is not quite feasible for me. Suggest pls. Deloitte India

I have the Leap v2 from Crandall (they refurbish so you only pay like 50% MSRP). I got it just before 3L finals. I have sat in it nearly every day through 3L finals, through bar prep, and through my first year out of school. I could tell a stranger tomorrow that my chair is brand new and they’d believe me - it’s that nice/sturdy.
Gesture has more cons than pros in my mind. Lumbar support is not pronounced, back not super adjustable but rocks back and forth even when in locked position. And not in a good way. If you’re looking for a chair that locks into a perfectly upright position, the gesture will not do that. If you are at that price point, rule out the gesture and take a look at the Haworth fern. Much better chair. I have one now. I love it and it has the adjustability of the gesture with a really great flexible back that doesn’t rock back and forth like the gesture. All this being said, you can’t go wrong with a leap. One of the most versatile/just useable and comfortable chairs you can get at that price point.
