Hello fellow Fishes I have an offer from persistent. Need some clarity on same. I want to know the grade system in persistent. What does 7.1 mean? Is 7.1 a right fit for an total experience of 10+ years? What is the appropriate CTC for an architect designation? I want to know if I am getting it as per experience.

Sounds normal.
It's normal, nothing to worry. Take it or leave it.
It’s common. They may have other candidates in the pipeline they will move forward with if you decline your offer.
It’s normal. You can always ask for more time and in most cases they have made it into a week.

Make sure you're negotiating! And usually negotiating pushes out that timeline because they need to respond and you need time to consider the new offer.
If you're waiting on another offer to come in within a week or so, you can certainly ask for more time. They may or may not grant it though.
