Omg that place is insane. So bad… I mean they come across as nice and I think they genuinely are, but good lord they just don’t know how to be. I can’t believe clients use them bc the reports have to be awful, but it’s dirty deeds done dirt cheap.
I case interviewed and the prompt - utterly riddled with misspellings and odd language - was (summarizing, but not by much) “a Client could develop a drug in large disease and sell for $ or in rare disease and sell for $$$. What’s your process to help them decide?” Zero specifics on drug or indication etc. etc. I think OK, all theoretical yep fine… You can imagine the generic, SOP research and work streams I laid out, how those would be used and framed etc. about options. Industry standard NPP, rhe way everyone and COE does it etc. and that I’ve literally taught.
They said - “Huh. Well which one do you recommend?” Puzzled I said well the *actual research will show the way. Still wouldn’t give up - “So you won’t say? You don’t have a recommendation for the client??” I basically yelled - “About what????”
We ghosted each other. (also, hi team 👋)
I’ve never heard good things about this company. Take it if that’s all you have, but don’t look to stay.
Look at Glassdoor reviews, they are horrible. Also look at past employees, most of them had short tenures, that’s a huge red flag. Also word of mouth wise, never heard anything good. There’s a reason they hire often.
It’s a CI firm - my assumption would be it’s more of a remote position than in office culture. Not much more info that that.
In this job market you could start working there and see how it is and then try to pivot.
It is a family run secondary CI firm, minimal strategy (the CEO had quite a poor presentation recently at a conference in Amsterdam - audience laughing at him). It has struck me as attracting a lot of PhD’s & MSc’s who are happy limiting themselves to desk research. Prescient or Deallus are much better firms if you have the option from a CI perspective.
