Big companies pay firms like ours big chunks of money to minimize their tax burden. The tax rate isn’t the issue, it’s the loopholes.

Everything used to pay $350k on target earnings. Tech is booming but I am noticing pay has dropped substantially despite inflation. I am seeing $300k ote and most roles are set up to not hit plan. Does anyone have insight here? It sends a clear message. Just thinking experienced sellers are going to leave or pivot because they follow the money and they are going to get less experienced sellers.

I met with the person who will be leading NA sales, and do not think hes the right person for the job. Not someone I think I can learn much from.

Used to rejection and I don’t let it get me down, but with the job market being the way it is—should I put my plans to get into tech on hold? I was thinking maybe construction sales or even possibly recruiting. I’m hesitating because of the nitpicking from HMs and recruiters for “job hopping”. Honest input request. Recent company role overhaul & total comp package revamp, cutting my 6 figures made last year down by 30k, and they added in support calls + prospecting + team lead. Pay day saw a 2.5k take home drop This month. This helped low performing staff increase their income, and pulled top performing folks like me into the red. Do I have any negotiation points here? Each year I’ve been here earned 23-50% more per year. Other than jumping ship, what are my options?

They're offering to transfer me but simply put I know for a fact I won't see as much traffic coming into the store so less potential for sales. I'm looking to find a good job to transition too.
