If it's in your budget, I'd recommend enrolling in an SDR program like SV Academy. If that's not feasible, at the very least, I'd have my resume professionally optimized. I'm sure you have some excellent transferable skills. Just need an expert to showcase them to prospective employers. You should be able to find affordable resume writers on a site like Upwork. I would recommend looking at customer success roles, and going for smaller SaaS companies rather than the bog ones. I worked at a smaller SaaS company for awhile and they were willing to take the pivoters one, and it was a good, low-pressure way to break into sales!
