Anyone have experience with a required on-site final interview for a fully remote job? I'll have already had an interview with the hiring manager and a teammate and a presentation of a case study. So with some of the team being fully remote and the role I'm interviewing for being fully remote I'm not sure what I should prepare for the on-site. I really want the role and want to respect their process but it's hard to justify visiting (across the country) and getting time off my current role.

Curious what your title structure is for roles focused specifically on organic social media (or does it always require paid expertise?). I imagine Community Manager is appropriate for entry level but when you start to grow and the work becomes more than social moderation - responsible for the development of all organic content (and sometimes copywriting), high level reporting, etc. - not sure what's most reflective of the roles. Any insights and perspectives welcome :)

Over the last three years my mfg company has had a lot of people leave and each time I take on the extra responsibility - from admin, payroll, benefits, compliance, safety, inventory and shipping. I literally do it all. And not only that, but I’ve eliminated and optimized a lot of wasteful processes in order to get it all done. I thought that it would all come with eventual pay increases since it saves the company over 300k in overhead. This whole time I should have been OE. I feel like a fool.

Does anyone have any advice on how to shift from a specialist (paid advertising) to a more strategic (in digital marketing) role? What are your thoughts on the term, person of color? It tends to be controversial at times. Do you prefer something more specific? I personally prefer "Black" for myself.

Whats the halloween tradition like at your school? Do you celebrate? I went as Ms. Frizzle 3 years ago and the kids loved it.
