So this might be a better place to post this and ask this question: Uncle D has announced explicitly that most people won’t get a pay raise & bonus this year except for those promoted and high performers. Amid this crisis, are companies including other big 3, MBB, FAANG, boutique consulting firms still giving high raises and issue stocks? Can you share the impact from your firm?

currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

Im a pastry cook with 4yrs experience and the average salary start for this position is now at $22/hr here in vegas, especially in the strip. But cooking/baking is not my passion. So im changing into veterinary medicine and im seeing that the starting rate for a vet tech is around $16-18. Why is that?? Why are people in the vet med industry being paid so low?? I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.)
