How long did it take you to find a new role once you committed to a job change? We are expecting our organization to change directions and our team need to make some changes. While I plan to make the change proactively rather than being laid off, I am also looking at my savings account to make sure I have adequate funds in case I get surprised. Thank you for your advice! I miss music. Like actual bands with instruments and vocal ability. Feels like the music industry is so hollowed out that multi-member instrumental bands like Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, and even Metallica are no longer able to take root.

There are a few talented individual singers (Adele) a lot of awful mumble rappers, but no actual bands that will stand the test of time. Before I get called a Boomer, the problems with the music industry for new artists are well documented.

To everyone that’s been laid off I just want y’all to know that I’m with you. That is why I’m doing the bare minimum until it’s my time to go.

My partner and I bought our home back in 2020. We got a good deal, low rate. But we want to move into a more spacious SFH. However, as we all know this market is crazy. Everything we want costs $620k+ and bc of rates it makes our mortgage estimates $3500+. We are currently paying $2k. And it looks we need to sell the house simultaneously as look for a new one or our contingency isn’t as attractive. I know it’s based on personal circumstances.
