Currently in D commercial insights role at mid sized pharma. Amazing WLB, remote w/great intl travel, but ultimately role won’t evolve past market research and offering insights to marketing and BD team. Have offer for D strategy role at Big Pharma. Would be hybrid, mostly US travel, but role shifts to center of some critical issues. WLB would decrease but estimated TC increases by 65K.
For those already in industry, what are your thoughts on strategy as a function? Career progression? TIA

Currently 1 YOE tech consulting at Deloitte looking to make a hop to more strategy type roles and came across the strategy analyst development program- 1. is this only for fresh undergrads from specific schools or would I be able to apply? 2. What’s the compensation at this level? (worried I might have to take a pay cut). Also would appreciate any remarks regarding the program in general. Thanks!

I have technical writing experience, but I don’t have experience with clinical studies or clinical trials. Does anyone have any advice on how I can gain more experience in this field? Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). No response whatsoever. Will emailing them again be inappropriate? I desperately need this job
