The IPPs are recruiting like crazy in areas like strategy, innovation, digital transformation. I would take an interview, especially for that much of a premium, but I would want to know from the leadership (not from the recruiter) the level to which they are expecting you to perform actual strategy work vs. how much you will get pulled in to triage troubled services engagements.

Take the money. You have big 4 experience and can pivot back if it's terrible - maybe not for double comp but at least a strong raise
from 90k TC to 160k base + 15-30k bonus... it is a no-brainer. take the money. and if someone asks why, tell them that. they are an idiot if they don’t understand.
people saying you don’t have a path to promo at witch... but who cares? give me more money over a better title. you’d probably need 2 promos at your current firm to get that kind of bump. you can always go back to b4.

I feel like 2x salary is something to seriously consider. OP you could most likely always boomerang back to Big 4 after your stint there
I'd distinguish Cognizant from other WITCH firms... in fact, the C should be Capgemini, which is more WITCH than Cognizant!
What's WITCH?
Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant and HCL
There is no structure to promotion, so if they pay you a lot to come over they may basically not give you any increases in pay or level for many years. Came from there to B4, feel free to dm

What is a WITCH firm?
Is WITCH the new FAANG!? They are offering double people's salaries? (especially a strat consultant)
Not worth tarnishing your career history, people won't see the dollar figure but they will see the downgrade to WITCH and it will be tough to move on to better pastures once 5 years goes by with limited pay increases.

Do it.
Will take you at least 4 years to get there in place.
Take the money. 80k a year over 4 years is enough to buy a house.
Don’t worry about the damage to your career - there isn’t any - you can always come back to Big4 whenever you want.
Stop acting like big 4 is prestigious- they hire like crazy you can always boomerang for a higher return salary
What’s the comp going from?
I went from $110k + tiny bonus to $125k + $10k bonus. It was Big 4 to Cognizant Business Consulting. They asked for a W2.
Biggest mistake of my life. Wasted 3 years doing almost nothing for the company. Spent 1.5 years on the bench. Got my CPA I was so bored.
Entire WITCH is built on an awful culture. I am Indian.
