I think what makes Jaime a redeeming character is that he shows some remorse for what he’s done. Daemon just seems like an agent of chaos. He’s not sorry for any past actions, he’s not afraid to get his hands filthy, he’s audacious and overly self confident that he KNOWS what he’s doing is right, even if it’s blatantly deadass wrong!
Is Daemon a bad person? He saved the sandstones. He defended Rhaenyra’s honor when Vaemond Velaryon insulted her and her children. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I don’t really see him as a bad person.
The writers are so mad that the audience loves him 🤣
Jamie had at least an amusing swagger. Daemon just seems clearly bad, managing at times to do something decent.
