Perhaps an odd question, but I've recently moved into a technical career track. I perform well and have a great career sponsor who has asked me to think bigger about my career goals. I've noticed my social skills and way of thinking are shifting towards stereotypical Engineer. Less social, less big picture thinking.

I am a PhD student in chemistry on my final year, with some publications but no industry experience. What advice could you give me to get Research Scientist positions at big companies? Considering that I am foreigner national, do companies even bother the hassle of applying for a visa for an employee without "industry" experience?

Anyone from EY Netherlands who can let me know what salary I should ask for for a senior auditor with 3 years of experience as an audit senior? Entering the CCaSS team, and this is my first European job, so I know salaries differ quite a bit.

Some say fullstack dev are better, more opportunities, etc...and some say focusing on niche is better, since you will the expert in that area in your team, say a team lead for frontend/ backend, the SME, expertise based. i have received mixed comments on this, what do you think on this? Sibling finished up MAin UK (History) w/ 2YOE, now back in US, and has comms/event management/program management experience. But she's having difficulty getting any interviews in the Northeast areas. It's been about 6 months now, and any resources y'all have would be greatly appreciated.

Do you break down your experience on a project by project basis? Any good samples of doing this?
