Need work-life balance?
Then by all means, avoid service-based companies like the plague.
If WLB is your dream, product-based companies are where the magic happens. And no, I’m not talking about the glittering MAANGs or powerhouses like JP Morgan and McKinsey—because clearly those giants are just there to dazzle you with brand names.
I’m talking about the real hidden gems Which I know like Plivo, Hotstar, Juspay, or the ever-exciting Jio offshoot,
I dont think for a full stack developement - referrals are needed Cause, full stack- It’s not like you're vying for a support/testing /UI Ux designer job, where applicants swarm like bees. .
you still want to sign up for the service-based grind, hey, send me your resume, and I’ll throw it in the ring for you.
As I said - WLB is just a fairy tale in any service based organization.
It totally depends upon clients.
Clients need work to get completed.
Service based organizations bid for projects by telling them that they will complete a 24 month project with in 16-18 months.
How can you expect WLB? 😂🤣
PS: Based on your stellar experience and your current and expected CTC, if you join a service-based company and layoffs come knocking, congratulations—you’ll be right at the front of the line, primed and ready to be the first wave to be shown exit doors unless you are billed accordingly to clients(not 30-40 dollar per hour, but a way more what CH won't happen in service based)
Cause organization grabs projects by also telling that - It's less billing for the people working from India which is not even half when compared to USA /the clients own countries.
Pro
Jio and Hotstar! 🤣
