What level MD at Accenture? Lots of people say senior md but only one level is truly a SMD.
Direct admit partner at deloitte.
Accenture is currently playing to the street.
Which would be preferable to OP if they come in as an SMD. RSUs of $1m plus annual equity? Go right ahead and play to the Street.
In my case, I would choose D even if all else is equal. Granted all else is rarely equal
My rationale
1. D is more consulting focused and ACN is more tech SI focused. Tech SI is going to get impacted by AI and other automation getting better
2. D doesn't have to do unnatural acts in the short term that ACN is inevitably forced to do
Both are good firms and the median case should work in your favor in either one. I would spend time validating the level at which you enter both by talking to existing partners. There are a lot of nuances that only the insiders can tell you
Impressive to hear OP has both offers in hand… I would look for best cultural fit in the team you are joining. If you are a high performer you will do well at either firm

Depends on what you do. Assuming comp isn’t a differentiator….
For outsourcing, software sales, staff aug, offshoring, go ACN.
For consulting, go Deloitte.
I have no knowledge of the firms involved beyond brand. Both are obviously solid firms. Having worked for a publicly traded firm before earlier in my career, I would go to a provage partnership all else being equal (all things being equal would also assume both firms are equally good at successfully integrating you)
Are you sure you are being offered SMD/L1? If not, then I would do DAP at D unless you only want to do SI or SI adjacent work.
Depends on the role. I’d only join Accenture as either a practice lead or to take over an established account / book of business. Way too hard to succeed if you’re being asked ‘to make something happen’.
