How much did you save before leaving your parent’s house? Either for the first time, or if you went back during early Covid.

Haven’t lived there since I left for college, so also $0

I had ~5k when I moved out after college

0

Never lived with parents after college.

Probably had less than $500 to my name. That didn’t reach four figures until I graduated haha.

0. Was in debt. Just do it and figure stuff out. It's a big world.

Wow, all I can say is make your own decisions based on your own thought process tbh lol I’m 24 and have nearly 200k saved from living at home (will move out prob next year)

Just because everyone else did something does not make it smart🥴

As is with most decisions in life…

And how do you have 200k saved already 🤔

$0, moved out for college and moved to NYC after graduation with like $1K in savings

For those that invested in real estate rentals, how did you systematically approach finding a good property? Realized most of my stock investments was just gambling and I don’t want to gamble on a RE investment. Read a few books but none of them go into how to actually find a good deal/city.

I have cash to put a large down payment to avoid the high rates but am scared I have no roots and will move in another few years.

I also literally just started contributing to my 401K so I’m also late in the game for that too.
