Hi Folks,
What would be the sufficient monthly salary required for a single in Krakow? I can share my place of living with another colleague who is coming along with me. It would be helpful if you could also share the current visa processing time. My company has just initiated the process. #krakow #poland #hcl HCL Technologies

... asking because my H1B at PwC is up for renewal and immigration team hasnāt really requested anything additional like SOW, client letter etc. Wondering if
1. PwC/D/ KPMG were already ahead in their immigration game and EY is just playing catch-up (or)
2. Or should I be concerned that our firms are being less diligent when compared to EY in protecting our H1B status.
Also, I donāt thing we have received any internal memo regarding not traveling for client locations for <30 days without LCA (based on EY posts here), and things are as they have always been when it comes to travel.
Thoughts?
Thanks A1... (and apologies, I meant to include all consulting š on H1b in the post, not just big 4). Makes me wonder if EY is overdoing it, or just being risk averse.
One thing is for sure - EY Visa team has lots of time on their hand since they ain't doing nothing about the many GC applications that have been sitting there for months
Can speak for OW (my firm), BCG/Mck where I have friends, weāve not received any communications on additional documentation like SOW or on restrictions for traveling to client sites
PwcOP , I think so, they are telling to file a LCA assessment for any movement even for any internal travel like training. Lot of confusion.
Thatās what I think as well AM1.
I think the EY Visa & immigration team is just being overcautious here looking at last year's RFEs.
I see no problem in being overcautious in this case as it is always better to give more supporting documents to USCIS. Comes from personal experience
Thanks EY2... one concern I have with giving more documents is say an SOW says 6months, would you only get a renewal for that duration? Unlike the typical 3 year renewal?
Pwc - just did my renewal stamping last week... no such docs requested
Thanks P1.... I think it is a lesser issues with stamping, but more with h1b renewals, transfers.
I think renewal and amendments are two things. With EY it should be typical 3 years. Your home office is always going to be your primary work location. Sow or no sow, you will need LCA for that. Amendments are only for additional locations, letting the govt know that apart from the home office you are going to be at location X because of sow with client Y. I think I understand the logic . Some of the firms bring their resources based on a client SOW, and then they place them at other clients ( or even skip original client). We are all just caught in the fishing net
