Im selected for TCS, i told expected 25 lpa, she told we can give max 19 lpa, i told i have to think, she cut call, next day she told to join call to take screenshot with ID. It's been a week, they didn't send CTC break up, status is "evaluation in progress". They rejected me? Can I expect offer? TIA Tata Consultancy

Can someone from #Mindtree help me understand what process they follow for recruitment?

Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

PwC has an international group. It’s pretty small, I think 6 people or so with a director at the top. They are technically a part of the larger Dallas group so same salaries as there.
Largest big 4 on the tax side is PwC with about 60 who sit in the office I believe. I would say a solid 40 of the 60 are not tied to another office.
No big 4 has a large presence in Austin nor will they likely have one. The market just isn’t there, especially for international tax or other speciality. Also, any client in Austin can easily (and often is) be served by one of the other offices Texas offices.

I’m curious too. I understand EY had a very large ITS group in Houston and another group in Dallas, but I’ve never heard about Austin.
We don’t have a group as there just isn’t a large enough market but we do have people in the Austin office who are part of the regional group supporting Dallas and Houston based clients.
I would apply for a Dallas or Houston based IT job and note you wish to work from the Austin office.
Very interested in others’ comments but from what I’ve noticed, there doesn’t seem to be a huge B4 tax presence in Austin. It appears that most of the B4 have major offices in Houston and Dallas, and that there isn’t much need outside of small BTS practices in other Texas offices.
That’s my impression too. I’ve met 2 EY people who work in Austin, but they were both part of some kind of tech firm that EY acquired. Not tax.
I think senior manager in ITS pay should be around 160k-200k range in Dallas ?
