Do we need the Fed to break the economy to see house prices go down significantly?

If housing prices go down significantly, it means that nobody, including you, can afford the cheaper houses. This means there was some manner of major financial catastrophe that affected you

like

Because financial catastrophes affect everyone equally usually?

Even then it likely won’t.

A 50% chance is better than a 0% chance.

They went down in many areas. Its not likely to have a massive correction. Again all those people waiting will start to buy once rates drop. Housing is still in incredibly high demand.

Demand is low actually. It’s supply that is extremely low.

It’s got more to do with lack of inventory. Supply is very low and demand is still very high.

QQQ is up 38% YTD why you want to buy a house?

I said that at those prices I can’t afford anything, so no problems with high interest.
