Any thoughts on this?

What would you choose & why?

Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

After a workout. Or in the morning for breakfast.

Best time? Within an hour or so of your workout, if not sooner.
99.7% as effective? Anytime you feel like having one or want to get some extra protein.
Unless you're an absolutely elite athlete, protein timing will have no visible effect on your results, assuming you're already consuming an adequate amount of protein (min 0.6g/lb of bodyweight, more if you're cutting).
I found one with caffeine and have it for breakfast. Seems to work for me so far
It’s a myth to take it at a certain time. As long as you are consistent and hit your daily protein intake amount, you’ll see the same results regardless of when your take your scoop. In addition, I’d remind you to take protein powder as a supplement, and not as a main source of protein.
A tip for consistency - incorporate protein powder in a meal (for e.g breakfast pancakes or smoothie with a scoop of protein) or else you’ll get sick of the powder fast and lose the consistency.

VP1, did you even read the article? It specifically states that most research shows the anabolic window doesn't exist. And the reason why I linked this article is that it uses reputable research papers but breaks content down for the "average" person to understand it.
Not sure about “best,” but I like it for lunch.
Within 30 minutes of your workout.
Your preference! Unless the powder includes other supplements, in which case it depends based on what's in the blend. Just protein=whenever works best for your schedule/meal plan.
I am vegetarian. Hence I feel my protein intake is not that much sufficient.
I have heard multiple things like protein shake during bed time is also effective, some people recommend before workout and some after workout, and some recommend in the morning.
So this is quite confusing on what basis people do give this recommendations ?
So that accordingly I can decide for myself what works well for me.
Ask ten people and you'll likely get ten different answers. The most common thread throughout the answers above--and the one I agree with as well--is that there's no one best time to eat a protein shake. Work it into your day as you see fit. If after working out suits your schedule, go that route as your metabolism will be on fire. If before bed is better, perhaps use a slow digesting protein like casein (though whey has also been shown to be beneficial when consumed before bed).
I'd focus on finding a clean, good quality protein so you know you're putting something good into your body, regardless of when you consume it.
The reason I do for breakfast is insulin regulation throughout the day and after workouts vs before is bc I don’t like feeling heavy before a workout.
I avoid eating anything before bed, practice a short window fast and I have better sleep and overall health. Hope you figure out what’s best for you.
