Do you ever experience interactions at work that make you stop and feel bad for the people in their lives? Haha let me explain. I have this Sr. Manager I work with that I can’t help but feel bad for his wife and kids. He’s never said anything nice about them just complains that he has to drive them around. There’s this weird culture where I work where many people that have kids just kinda hate on them. Maybe I don’t understand because I don’t have kids??

We recently got the ok to schedule our orientation and delivery date for our IVF medications and all I have to say is ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF! My husband has dermatomyositis, and his doctor put off treatment so that we could do some collection and go through IVF. I felt like my dr was blowing off our timeline, but I persisted. I worked with CVS Caremark directly and got approval in 2 days (not the expected 3 weeks). Moral of the story: ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF!

There’s been some posts on the best planning tools (e.g. planners, calendars, etc.), but my question is how do ppl make sure they use them? I get them and am excited about the possibility of them helping for about a week then I just stop using it. Even if I find it helpful I just never stay consistent with it. Does this happen to others? Any tricks or suggestions to stay consistent using planners, to do lists, calendars, etc.
