Hey all! My organization is looking to hire an Account Manager/Director/Customer Success person that will be managing junior consulting resources with clients. They will be placing them with those clients and then managing them. Are there any roles like this out there in the ecosystem or that maybe some of you are currently in? Hello everyone! What are some things you can think of to help boost LGBT acceptance in the work place?

Let’s not have pride this year that is all about rainbow colors. Remember those who have lost their lives during the AIDS crisis, and the years they were ignored by the government and couldn’t get healthcare to save their lives. Same as what is happening today - those who are not privileged don’t have equal resources, or even access to healthcare. That’s why equality should matter for everyone. It’s not just a party, it’s to show that we’re still here and we will not give up.

It’s that time when pride briefs are rolling across our desks. We should collectively write a guide on pride campaigns, what to do and what not to do. Anyone want to share their advice?

For those of you that have a LGBTQ+ employee resource group at your company how are you all handling pride month? We’re fully remote right now and I’m a co-chair for mine and struggling to think of things to do for the group.

Does anyone know of a good therapist they could recommend in the LA area? Saw someone post something similar to this in the bowl the other day so I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask. They don’t have to be LGBTQ+, but it would help if they have some experience in that area.

I see recruiters encouraging Women, POC, and LGBTQIA to apply. How does one show they identify as the third?

Just wanted to say, as a guy in my mid-20’s, cheers to all the 30-40+ y/o LGBTQIA+ folks here—I know we roll our eyes at the performative rainbows on everything now, but you folks made this possible for the rest of us—you fought for acceptance, for our rights, and you made it through the struggle so people my age don’t have the same weight to carry, so we don’t have to be as afraid.
We have a long way to go, and I’ll carry the torch too, but I really think y’all deserve more gratitude. Happy 🏳️‍🌈
