How do you effectively plan for retirement?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Check out Capital One Venture X. Also, The Points Guy has a ton of articles on credit cards, and travel in general (https://thepointsguy.com/credit-cards/best)
Venture X is a great deal. Capital one doing really well with penetrating the credit card market

For cash back, should be pretty straightforward based on your spending habits. For points, I love the Amex Gold but Chase also has the Sapphire line.
Cash back has the worse redemption value. Better to get points card. Sapphire Reserve / Venture X / Amex Gold. If you travel surge Amex platinum is one of the best , but not for all people. I have both Amex Plat and Reserve and wil prob get Venture X for sign up bonus temporarily. If you travel / spend enough, these all end up being net positive.
Venture card is great
