They've shown us who they are. Unsubscribe/block and move on. I'm sure there are entertaining Black British women-led podcasts we could follow instead.
This ain’t the first time they’ve done something like this. They’ve made their disdain for women clear.

They are lovers
You think??
Hear me out…
I watched the podcast episode when it dropped and I remember telling my friend that their British politeness was killing them.
1. Their response was very “We don’t want to alienate anybody” vs. “We want to alienate Black women.” They gave a “safe” answer and shot themselves in the foot.
2. For a White dude to ask two Black men, one who is biracial with a White mother, if they prefer Black or White women… Especially, men that have shared how they have dated all races… that was their most honest answer.
3. Where they went wrong was how they didn’t check Andrew for the things he was saying about Black women and instead did the “awkward laughs and faces” thing. BUT given where they are in their careers, that British “politeness”, and not wanting to ruffle any feathers… this is where they’ve landed up.
Their apology was… lackluster at best. But then again, their manager is a white woman and they probably got direction from her in how to handle this situation.
What I find interesting is how they are getting all the heat for how they reacted to the statements Andrew made vs. the black men we know Andrew hangs with (e.g. Charlemagne) for not checking him. His FRIENDS say all these things about Black women around him - That’s where he is getting it from. Yet, we are mad at his show’s guests for navigating that segment poorly?
IDK, I think the rage is misdirected.
A little digging into old episodes and their misogynoir is very clear. Standard Black British male colourism and elevation of white/mixed women. And because we continue to support them and other sheisty BM, they continue to dismiss and denigrate us. Misdirected indeed 🙄
