I’ve been in similar situations, and it can feel awkward to bring it up again after they’ve already “made space,” but you have every right to politely request that the prayer room actually serves its intended purpose. Maybe you could suggest some simple guidelines for keeping the room tidy and exclusive for prayer, or even offer to help set it up if you feel comfortable. Most reasonable employers want their team to feel respected and supported, and your request is both reasonable and important for your well-being. You’re definitely not alone in this!
Yes we do. It's my favorite part of my company.
We have a rest room, mother's room, same thing. An open large room with chair, bed, sink. This is what all my previous companies had as well.
You should bring it up that it's a space for you use, and should be maintained and cleaned.
My office has 5-6 wellness rooms which are also accommodated for praying. There’s prayer mats in each room as well
I just pray in a random room. It works great for me. I have a small portable prayer mat in my backpack

Deloitte offices have wellness / phone or quiet rooms so I just use that. Otherwise, it would turn into an interfaith space as I’ve seen it happen elsewhere and I’m not particularly comfortable using a space with idols etc. Sometime I pray in the private offices as well.
