Is buddy and counsellor same in EY Gds?
McKinsey & Company I received an offer from McKinsey & Company in 2021 and I’ll be starting later this year after graduation. Obviously because of the pandemic, inflation is slowly trending upwards. Has anyone asked for a base salary increase before even starting the job? Any advice on how to approach this?

Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?

No headhunter will work with you to find a job, if you reach out they might have something and they can save your profile on their database, but they will not help you find a job, they focus on their current mandates
You get it! The reality is, we exist to help clients fill specific mandates that they can't find themselves for whatever reason. With the competitiveness at the A/C levels these days as well, it's unlikely we'd see needs in these spaces unless it was something great niche.
Headhunters can be so random, but in general if from a larger legit firm that’s better. Otherwise they’re not doing an exclusive search and are basically just trying to sell candidates to companies.
I will say, I got my role at an SWF from a sole practitioner recruiter in US, no website or online presence. Almost thought was a scam, yet it worked out. Granted, that was 8 years ago.

Good question. I only came along with those working on corporate site. Not even sure there are recruiters working with profiles directly in this market.
I run a HH firm here specialising in consulting, but in all honesty, it's going to be so difficult for any firm to help you at the Associate/Consultant level. Hardly any firms are hiring as is at that level and the market is heavily saturated.

I keep receiving email messages from Hays offering potential candidates (without sharing names initially) - feels like spam but at least they are working and trying to connect talent to companies/vacancies…might be worth trying the company.
